In late 2007, Ipsos moderated a dynamic discussion - Mobile TV: Worldwide Early Learnings - at iHollywood's 13th annual Mobile Entertainment Summit in San Francisco.
Todd Board, Senior Vice President of Ipsos Media, Content & Technology, helped conference attendees understand the global impact of streaming and live video. While it remains a big question mark in the U.S. market, the take up of streaming and live television around the world has been impressive. The world has much to teach U.S. programmers about the likely tastes and patterns used for this fledgling medium. He shared insights around what we have learned at this early stage about how, where and when people want their Mobile TV; what sort of programming works best; and how existing TV brands can leverage current formats for easily mobile-ready content.
Todd was interviewed immediately following the event by Michael Stroud, the CEO of iHollywood Forum and host to the Mobile Entertainment Summit.
